How to pay for a won item
Once the auction closes and you've secured the winning bid, paying for your item is easy!
- Quick payment via email link: After you win an auction, we'll automatically send you an email with a link to complete your payment. Simply click on this link to pay immediately.
- Pay through your account: If you prefer, you can pay directly from your account. Simply visit the Orders section and go to the Unpaid Orders page to pay for your item.
- Multiple items: If you've won multiple items in different auctions, we recommend that you wait until all the auctions have closed before making your payment, especially if the items can be shipped together. This will help streamline the shipping process!
What are my payment options?
We offer a variety of payment methods to make things as convenient as possible for you! The options available depend on your country of residence and the currency used for the auction. Here's a quick overview of the options:
- Online payment: iDEAL, Bancontact, EPS, Multibanco, Przelewy24, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay
- Credit & debit cards: Visa, MasterCard, American Express
- Bank Transfer: European SEPA transfers are supported (for certain countries only)
Can I pay from abroad?
Of course you can! Whether you're in Europe or anywhere else in the world, you can pay for your items using your credit or debit card or one of our online payment methods.
- Credit & debit cards: These work from anywhere!
- Bank Transfer: Only European SEPA transfers are supported for bank payments.
How do I pay by bank transfer?
Bank transfers are an option if you're bidding in Euros. Please note that only European SEPA transfers are accepted for bank payments. Unfortunately, we do not accept SWIFT transfers as our payment processor, Stripe, cannot process them.
Important Note: If you attempt to make a SWIFT transfer, your payment will be returned to your bank account.
What if my SWIFT transfer isn't returned?
If your SWIFT transfer isn't returned to you, please contact us. Be sure to include a letter from your bank explaining the situation. This will allow us to verify the issue with Stripe and ensure that everything is handled smoothly.
SEPA vs. SWIFT: What's the difference?
- SEPA (Single Euro Payments Area): A system that allows quick and easy payments in euros, but only within the SEPA region (European countries).
- SWIFT: A global payment system used for international transfers in multiple currencies.
Here's a breakdown:
- SEPA: Euro-only transfers within Europe.
- SWIFT: Multi-currency transfers, but available worldwide (outside the SEPA area).
