How automatic bidding works

Bonop's automatic bidding system ensures you stay ahead of the competition without having to constantly monitor the auction. Instead of manually bidding every time you're outbid, you can set a maximum bid and our system will bid on your behalf in small increments up to your limit.

How It Works:

1. Set Your Maximum Bid – Enter the maximum amount you're willing to pay for the item.

2. Automatic Bidding in Action – Bonop will place the lowest possible bid to keep you in the lead and will only increase if someone else bids.

3. If You're Outbid Instantly – If someone has already placed a higher automatic bid before you, their bid will immediately outbid yours on the next increment. For example

   • You place a €250 bid.

   • A previous user already set a €325 maximum bid.

   • The system immediately places a €260 bid on their behalf, keeping them in the lead.

   • You'll instantly see that you've been outbid and have the option to increase your maximum bid.

4. Winning the Auction – If no one bids higher than the maximum you've set, you win the auction at the lowest possible price.
